Individualized Home Supports (IHS)
Core Habilitation Service
Individualized Home Supports provide habilitative training and support in community living skill areas. These services build or maintain function — not just caregiving.

Night Supervision
Overnight Awake/Asleep Staff Support
One-to-one overnight supervision in the person's own home when an assessed need exists. Staff provide monitoring and assistance during nighttime hours (up to 12 hours per day).

24-Hour Emergency Assistance
Remote/On-Call Crisis Response
This is an emergency response system — not staffing. It provides on-call counseling, problem solving, and immediate response at the person's home due to health or personal emergencies. This service replaces the risk of institutional placement.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Individual Community Living Supports (ICLS)
Bundled Independence Service
ICLS provides assistance so a person can remain living in their home with moderate support needs. This is essentially assisted-living-level support delivered in a private home.

Household management support
Health and wellness monitoring

Homemaker / Home Management
Functional Living Support
Homemaker services fall under household management support categories in HCBS frameworks. These services help individuals maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Chore Services
Environmental Safety & Maintenance
Chore services are different from homemaker services. They focus on heavier tasks and environmental modifications that allow the individual to safely remain in their home.
